ANTELOPE VALLEY, Calif. -- Scores of new jobs are coming to the Antelope Valley -- most of them are manufacturing roles at a company called Lance Camper.
- The Lancaster-based company that sells truck campers, expanded into a 61,000-square-foot space at a business park on the east side of town. With that expansion, comes new jobs, and Jack Cole, president of the company, says they're hiring right now.
- Cole says the company currently has more than 500 employees and plans to fill the 150 slots throughout the year.
- It could add quite a boost for Lancaster's economy, according to Vice Mayor Marvin Crist. "These people are going to add to the community by buying bread, they buy houses, they buy cars," said Crist.
